As a Data Analyst at MLG Consult, you will play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and data visualization techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
• Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and predictive models to generate actionable insights and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, data quality enhancement, and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and recommend innovative approaches to improve data analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and implement appropriate data governance practices.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide guidance on leveraging data to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or a similar role, with a strong background in data analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques for classification, regression, and clustering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data governance, data quality assessment, and data privacy regulations is a plus.
